Buffalo is known as "The Queen City" as it is New York's
second largest city. It originally got the name of Buffalo from
the creek that flows through the area while historically Buffalo
was an important link in the Underground Railroad.
From professional sports teams to a world-class symphony
orchestra, Buffalo has something for everyone. It is home to
the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, Erie Canal,
Buffalo Zoo, Buffalo Harbor, the beautiful Buffalo City Hall and
many other attractions as well as the home of the original
Buffalo Chicken Wings. From the center of town it is only a
20-minute drive to Niagara Falls.
