Nemo me impune lacessit - "No one attacks me with
impunity" is the motto of this hardy people. A
prickly thistle adorns a band of tartan plaid as a
piper plays his haunting bagpipes. Crossed Claymore
swords rest at the base of Edinburgh Castle. The
proud and fiercely independent Scots have long had a
passion for freedom. "We fight not for glory, nor
for wealth nor honors, but only and alone we fight
for Freedom, which no good man surrenders but with
his life."
Declaration of Arbroath 1320AD.
The Scottish are proud to order this ornament.
