West Virginia University's football stadium, located in
Morgantown, WV, is known as Milan Puskar Stadium, the home of
Mountaineer Field.
The stadium was built in 1980 and with a current seating
capacity of 60,000.
On game days Morgantown temporarily becomes the largest city in
West Virginia. John
Denver made an appearance at the 1980 dedication and sang "Take
Me Home, Country Roads".
His song has been played at every home game since 1972
and in more recent years it is sung after each home victory.
