Woodburn Hall, with its distinctive clock tower, is recognized
as the academic symbol of West Virginia University and is the
home of Eberly College.
The cornerstone for the center portion of the hall was
laid on June 18, 1874, with the north wing completed in 1899 and
the south wing in 1910.
The interior of Woodburn Hall was completely renovated in
1977-1978 and the exterior was refurbished in the early 1990s.
The annual lighting ceremony of Woodburn Hall in early
December kicks off the holiday season at West Virginia
University each year.
This WVU Old Main Ornament is an ideal keepsake gift for
students, graduates, faculty, and alumni of West Virginia
University.
